Nationwide Covid vaccination coverage crosses 216 crore 93 lakh mark

India’s Covid vaccination coverage has crossed 216 crore 93 lakh mark. More than 9 lakh 62 thousand vaccine doses were administered yesterday, September 20.

Union Health Ministry said, the cumulative first dose of Covid vaccine has been administered to over 102 crore 43 lakh beneficiaries and the second dose have been administered to more than 94 crore 70 lakh beneficiaries.

The Ministry said, over 19 crore 79  lakh precaution doses have been administered to the identified categories of beneficiaries including Health Care Workers, Front Line Workers, and people above 18 years of age.
