India’s Covid vaccination coverage crosses 217.96 crore mark

More than 217 crore 96 lakh vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive. The Health Ministry said, over 13 lakh 87 thousand doses were administered in the last 24 hours. During the same period, over three thousand six hundred and fifteen new Covid cases were reported in the country.

The country’s active caseload currently stands at over 40 thousand. The recovery rate is currently at 98.72 percent. In the last 24 hours, around five thousand people have recovered.

he Ministry said, more than 89 crore 44 lakh Covid tests have been conducted in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, around three lakh 23 thousand tests were conducted.
