Sensex falls 119 points, Nifty Sheds 20 points to trade at 16,838

At the stock markets, erasing all its opening gains, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange fell 119 points, or 0.2 percent, to trade at 56,479, in the afternoon trade at 1:45 pm.

The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange shed 20 points, or 0.1 percent, to 16,838.
