HEIs across J&K progressing rapidly and NEP-2022 lays clear road map of developing institutions: Principal Secretary
In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department, Rohit Kansal has said that the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across J&K are progressing rapidly and the National Education Policy (NEP)-2022 has laid a clear road map of developing these institutions in every sphere.
Rohit Kansal was addressing a large gathering of students and faculty members yesterday after inaugurating State of Art Sports infrastructure at the College of Education in Srinagar.
The Principal Secretary highlighted that NEP-2020 is focusing majorly on skill-based courses in Higher Education Institutions and therefore maximum efforts should be made for the commencement of varied types of Skill courses in the institutions. He also called upon the management of college to hold regular interactions with the students on development of curriculum and provide them a facility to provide feedback on quality of education as well as other aspects of the college.
