Sensex declines 257 points to trade at 60,864

The key domestic stock indices today logged modest losses in the afternoon trade amid mixed cues from global share markets. The Sensex was trading below the 61,000 mark while the Nifty was trading below 18,100 level.

The Sensex declined 257 points, or 0.42 percent, to trade at 60,864. The Nifty also fell 71 points, or 0.39 percent, to trade at 18,074.
