Vomedh, Yadgaar Art & Music Theatre stages ‘Aalow’ Nukad Natak on Beti Bachao at Kulgam
Kulgam, November 17, 2022: Vomedh in association with Yaadgar Art & Music Theatre Kulgam today staged a Nukad Natak on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Kulgam where hundreds of students and teachers witnessed the Nukad Natak and appreciated the efforts of Vomedh to reach far flung areas of Jammu and Kashmir in spreading the message of peace, harmony and gender equality.
The Nukad Natak ‘Aalaow’ explains in detail about the urgency of adopting gender equality in our society and how the education, growth and development of girl child is equally necessary for the society as it cares for the growth development and education of a male child.
The Nukad Natak ‘Aalow’ is written and directed by Ashraf Fayaz, a well-known theatre director of Kulgam and the artists who performed in the Nukad Natak include Hassan Miskeen, Ashiq Hussain, Fazil, Sumair, Adil Mushtaq and Aamir Shamim.
The nuked Natak is part of the series of Nukad Nataks initiated by Vomedh group a prominent theatre group of Jammu and Kashmir which has been associating with various theatre groups of the state to create awareness about the gender equality, Swatch Bharat Mission and other socially relevant issue from time to time.
This time Vomedh associated with Yaadgar Art & Music Theatre Group of Kulgam and staged the Nukad Natak in Kulgam to create awareness among the young students in protecting the girl child and how and why the growth and development of a girl child is equally important as that of a male child.
In a message director of Vomedh Rohit Bhat appreciated the efforts of Yaadgar Music and Art Theatre Group in organising this Nukad Natak at Kulgam and hoped that many more events will be organised in future for the betterment of the society.
