Part 2- Nazir Josh aka Ahad Raza, renowned TV and Theatre artist and writer of J&K talks about the effect of his career in acting on his personal life

Srinagar, November 23, 2022: In Part 2 of the series Nazir Josh aka Ahad Raza, renowned TV, Theatre artist and writer of J&K talks about his career in acting and his popular character Ahad Raza, Jum German and Raza Henz and its effect on his personal life in conversation with renowned broadcaster of J&K Rashid Nizami.

In our series of TheRightConnect Part 2 with the Right Person, Nazir Josh aka Ahad Raza talks to Rashid  Nizami on his career in acting and his tremendous popularity through various mediums of performing art particularly comedy and the icon roles he wrote and played in J&K and its effect on his personal life.

Talking about the effect of his TV career on his personal life Nazir Josh accepts that it had huge effect on his education and personal life saying due to this profession he could not pursue education beyond 12th standard due to continuous shootings etc.

He says that once he was also recommended personally by a minister for the job of a teacher but even that could not be pursued due to his busy schedule in TV even though others who were recommended along with him got the job and later pursued their education also.

Nazir Josh informed that once he also became a contractor and a successful one at that adding after he appeared in his popular serial ‘Hazaar Dastan’ people would intentionally come to him for contracts and even  paid in advance which made his career as a contractor very successful. However later he started Carpet business but suffered losses in the business as many people defaulted on payments and that business was ultimately wound up.

After this he focused his attention to his acting career and in 1990, he became a full-time actor.
