Vehicular movement on Jammu Srinagar National Highway suspended as stone slides near Dewal bridge

Vehicular movement on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway was suspended today, December 21, in view of a major stone slide near the Dewal bridge.

Vehicular movement from Jammu to Chenani, Patnitop, Doda, Ramban, Gool, Banihal Srinagar and vice-versa was also suspended. The road-clearance agencies and machinery have been deployed to clear the debris off the highway.

The closure of the highway has left hundreds of passenger vehicles and Jammu-bound trucks stranded at different places.
