Sensex, Nifty witness losses in afternoon trade

The Sensex and the NSE Nifty today witnessed losses in the afternoon trade.

The index of the top 30 companies on the Bombay Stock Exchange, Sensex, declined 443 points to trade at 60,851 when reports last came in.

The Nifty, index of the top 50 companies on the National Stock Exchange, also fell 133 points to trade at 18,099.
