Rajouri district administration constructs 12,044 houses under PMAY-G & Awas Plus in last 5 years

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the district administration of the border district of Rajouri has constructed 12,044 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) and Awas Plus in the last five years, benefitting about 65,000 people.

Under the scheme, old houses were replaced, infrastructure was improved and sanitation facilities provided. Special IEC activities were carried out to encourage people to build houses.
