Depression over Bay of Bengal makes landfall at east coast of Sri Lanka

In Sri Lanka, the depression over Bay of Bengal has made landfall at the east coast of Sri Lanka and is moving across the island.

Cloudy sky will prevail over most parts of the island and thundershowers with over 100 mm of rain and strong winds are expected in Northern, North-Central and Eastern provinces.
