President, Vice President extend greetings on 200th birth anniversary of Swami Dayanand Saraswati

President Droupadi Murmu has extended her greetings on the 200th birth anniversary of Swami Dayanand Saraswati. In a message, the President said that the Arya Samaj founder Swami Dayanand has brought a spiritual-social current in the country.

President Murmu highlighted that Swami Dayanand also spread the light of untouchability prevention and women empowerment. She expressed hope that Swami Dayanand’s teachings will keep on inspiring the citizens.

On the occasion, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar also paid tributes to Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati and said that his vision for a just and equitable society and his efforts towards educational reform continue to inspire the nation.
