Aramane Giridhar gets extension as Defence Secretary

Defence Secretary Aramane Giridhar has been given extension in service till October next year.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved his extension in service as Secretary, Department of Defence, beyond the age of superannuation for a period upto 31st of October, 2024.

Mr. Giridhar is a 1988-batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre.
