Border Gavaskar Trophy: India & Australia final Test match underway in Ahmedabad

In Cricket, India were 81 for 1 against Australia in their first innings on day three of the 4th and final Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, in Ahmedabad when reports last came in.

The Hosts were trailing by 480 runs.  Earlier, India resumed their play at the overnight score of 36 for no loss after dismissing Australia for 480 on the second day. Ravichandran Ashwin scalped a total of 6 wickets for the Indian side.

India have retained the trophy, winning the first two Tests of the four-match series. The visitors recovered from two losses to win the third Test at Indore. India will try to win or draw this Test to win the series, while Australia will try to level the series 2-2 by winning this match.
