Country registers two thousand one hundred & fifty one new cases of COVID-19; recovery rate stands at 98.78 per cent

The country has registered two thousand one hundred and fifty one new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. The Union Health Ministry stated that twelve hundred and twenty-two people have recovered during the same period. The recovery rate is currently 98.78 per cent. India’s active caseload currently stands at over eleven thousand nine hundred and it stands at 0.03 per cent.

The Ministry said, over eleven thousand three hundred and thirty-six vaccine doses of COVID were administered during the last 24 hours under the nationwide vaccination drive. So far, over 220 crore 65 lakh vaccine doses were administered across the country.
