Union Home Minister Amit Shah attends 113th Convocation ceremony of Gurukul Kangri University at Haridwar

In Uttarakhand, Union Home Minister Amit Shah today attended the 113th Convocation ceremony of  Gurukul Kangri University at Haridwar. He was accompanied by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and other dignitaries. The Minister presented the degrees and medals to the passing out students of the university on completion of their degrees and their outstanding achievements.

Addressing the convocation, Amit Shah congratulated the gathering on Ramanavami and said that on next Ramanavami the Prabhu Shri Ram will be in the Grand Ram temple in Ayodhya. Talking about the new education policy he said, in the new education policy the primary education will be given in the mother tongue. He said also the provision of three language formula is there.

Union Minister said that new education policy is stream less and classless and the students will get opportunities to learn all the subjects. Later he will launch various schemes of the Cooperative Department from Rishikul Ayurvedic College Ground. Union Minister will also inaugurate the computerisation of various multipurpose societies in the state. He will launch Jan Suvidha Kendras and Jan Aushadhi Kendras in the Multipurpose Societies.
