Sensex slips 497 points to trade at 61,252

The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange slipped 497 points, or 0.8 percent, to trade at 61,252, in the afternoon session, a short while ago. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange dropped 141 points, or 0.8 percent, to 18,115.
