Boy, girl die in Jammu road accident

Jammu, May 22, KNT: A biker and a pillion rider died after a motorcycle they were riding was hit by a school bus in Jammu on Monday.

Police said that a Heritage school bus (JK02B-F7261] hit a motorcycle (10FG-8396) at Indira Chowk Jammu. The boy and the girl on the motorcycle sustained critical injuries and both died on the way to the hospital.

Police identified the deceased as 20-year-old boy Jehangir Ahmed and 18-year-old girl Snowber.

Police arrested the school bus driver and registered a case under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
