Sensex falls 416 points; Nifty down by 111 points

The key domestic indices today witnessed losses of more than half a percent in the afternoon trade.

The BSE Sensex was trading near 62,500 mark while the NSE Nifty was trading near 18,500 level. Both stocks were down amid negative global cues.

The Sensex fell 416 points or 0.66 percent to trade at 62,553. The Nifty was also down 111 points or 0.6 percent to trade at 18,522, a short while ago.
