Casper Ruud to clash with Novak Djokovic in final of French Open men’s singles

In Tennis, Casper Ruud stormed into the final of French Open in men’s singles beating Alexander Zverev. Ruud has set up summit clash against Novak Djokovic.

 

Fourth seed Norwegian Casper Ruud defeated 22nd seed German Alexander Zverev 6-3, 6-4, 6-0 in the second semifinals at Roland Garros in Paris.

Earlier, third seed Serbian Novak Djokovic reached final defeating top seed Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz 6-3, 5-7, 6-1, 6-1 in first semifinals.

World number one Alcaraz struggled in final two sets with cramp and ended his Roland Garros dream. Novak Djokovic will be eyeing history in the final as he is just one win away from men’s record 23rd Grand Slam singles title.
