MP govt to transfer Rs.6,423 Cr in bank accounts of farmers at Kisan-Kalyan Mahakumbh in Rajgarh district today
Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh will attend Kisan Kalyan Mahakumbh organized in Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh today.
In this programme, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will deposit an amount of 6 thousand 423 crore rupees in the farmers’ accounts along with the Defence Minister at the Kisan-Kalyan Mahakumbh being held at Mohanpura Dam.
Bhoomi-pujan and the inauguration of development works worth over 11 thousand 378 crore rupees will also take place in Mahakumbh. Land rights letters will be distributed to 1 thousand 689 beneficiaries.

The Defence Minister and the Chief Minister will inaugurate the Mohanpura-Kundalia Pressurized Pipe Irrigation System Project built at a cost of 8481 crore rupees. The pressurized pipe system is one of the largest projects in the world.
Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr. Virendra Kumar and state ministers will also participate in the function.
