PM Modi to address G20 Agriculture Ministers meeting through video message

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the G20 Agriculture Ministers meeting being held in Hyderabad later this morning through a video message.

 

The Agriculture Ministers of the G20 nations and the invitee countries will meet at the formal plenary session where India’s Niti Ayog will give a presentation on Global Food Security and Nutrition.

Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and the Troika members will address the meeting. The G20 Agriculture Ministers will deliberate on the working group summations on various topics.

During the side events, the delegates discussed Managing Agribusiness for Profit, People, and Planet and Connecting the Digitally Disconnected- Harnessing the Power of Digital Technologies in Agriculture. The two side events witnessed enthusiastic participation.

Besides, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar held bilateral meetings with his counterparts from several countries including Oman, Vietnam, and Canada. The delegates also witnessed programmes that are a blend of vibrant diverse traditions, arts, culture, and heritage of India in the city of pearls.
