National Highway closes for traffic movement due to landslides triggered by heavy rains

In Jammu and Kashmir, the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway has been closed for traffic movement due to landslides triggered by heavy rains at several places in Ramban district.

The traffic authorities have said that landslides hit the highway near cafeteria mode forcing the authorities to halt traffic on both sides of the highway. They said that men and machinery are on job and the highway is expected to be thrown open later today.
