Police arrest ‘debauch’ for allegedly raping minor relative girl

Srinagar Police have arrested a licentious person for allegedly raping a minor girl.

According to the Police, a 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped by Zaid Feroz of old Barzulla who is said to be a close relative of the girl.

 Srinagar Police in a tweet claimed that “One accused namely Zaid Feroz of old Barzulla, Srinagar aged 22 years arrested for raping a 12-year-old child (name withheld). The accused is close relative of victim girl child.”

  An FIR no 56/2023 under sections 5, 6 of POCSO Act has been registered at Sadar police station and further investigation has been initiated.
