Trio killed after vehicle rolls down into Chenab river

Ramban, July 7, KNT: A vehicle rolled down into the river Chenab leading to the death of three persons in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

Official sources said that a vehicle went out of control of the driver near Cafeteria Morh and rolled down into the river Chenab.

After the operation, 3 dead bodies were retrieved from the river. Deputy Commissioner Ramban identified the victims as Bharat Singh (52) son of Tej Ram, Vikram Singh (30) son of Bharat Singh both residents of Teli Majra (17) and Rohit Katoch, son of Surjit Katoch, of Gali Bas Ramban.

A police official said that after the required formalities, the dead bodies were handed over to families for cremation. [KNT]
