A twenty day Children’s Summer workshop that was inaugurated on 14th June last month concluded here , at Abhinav Theatre
The Children from the various schools of the Jammu region got a rare opportunity to learn and develop the skills in various disciplines like Painting , Dance and Theatre art on the one platform under the experienced and qualified experts in their respective fields.
While welcoming the guests Dr. Sudhir Mahajan I/C Divisional Head , also read the Message of Sh. Bharat Singh (JKAS ).Secretary JKAACL, wherein Mr. Singh extended his best wishes and also congratulated the participating children of the workshop who have to show their various skills and hidden talent In the shape of output and final performance of play and dance besides painting exhibition .

In his message Secretary JKAACl said,” I would have really enjoyed the performance of children as this occasion comes only once in a year i.e., ‘Children’s Workshop” Which is organised by JKAACL and for me, it is not less than any festival, besides, being creative and innovative , children are also innocent , pure, state forward and far away from the elders like manipulations” . “Whatever they have learned , through ‘learning by doing method’ will enrich their overall development not artistically and aesthetically only but as a good human too ” Agriculture cultivates the soil and Culture cultivates mind and soul , ” he said in his message .
On this occasion, MS Mona Singh, Chief Income Tax Commissioner was the Chief guest. While congratulating Secretary JKAACL, children and their parents ,She said that learning about art does not develop the various skills of children only but also inculcates values and sensitivity about themselves and the society too, as the children of today are our future and the future of nation is also to be shaped by themselves . These performing arts provide full opportunity to imbibe values and self confidence to develop their personality and overall development .

Hadeed Eishan, Rahul Dev, Samar Pratap Singh, Ahaan Dubey, Hansuja Sharma, Aastha Bandral, Niddha Mahajan, Aaiyana Raina, Sonakshi Sharma, Samaira Sharma, Sharon Gupta, Vansh Sharma , Tanish Sharma, Sumit Mattoo, Shruti Sharma, Shalini Sharma, Arpit Kaila, Bhavesh Mahajan, Ayush Deol, Mansi Sharma, Toshanav Suri, Jayashtha Verma, Yuvraj Singh, Ranveer Baboria, Shubhdeep, Riyansh Mahajan, Shaloom Rohin, Rijul Sharma.

Sh. Neeraj Kant ,Akash Dogra and Ankush Kumar were the experts in the Theatre , Dance and painting workshop.
The function was witnessed and highly appreciated by parents of the participating children , theatre lovers and galaxy of audience as well.
