Chatisgarh youth dies in train accident

Anantnag, July 11, KNT: A 24-year-old ‘mentally unsound’ youth died in a train accident in South Kashmir on Tuesday, officials said.

A Railway police official told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a train coming from Baramulla hit a youth near KM no. 15 between Anantnag to Sadura section. The youth died on the spot.

The official identified the deceased as Jugal Kishor Karsh son of Mast Ram, a resident of Janji Chapa Chattisgarh.

The official added that the family of the deceased confirmed that Kishor was ‘mentally unsound’. [KNT]
