President Droupadi Murmu to inaugurate conference of National Human Rights Institutions of Asia Pacific region in New Delhi

President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the conference of National Human Rights Institutions of the Asia Pacific region at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi today. The two-day conference will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights and 30 years of National Human Rights Institutions and the Paris Principles. It will also hold a sub-theme on the environment and climate change.

Additionally, the National Human Rights Commission, India will also organise a seminar on Business and Human Rights. The event aims to ensure that businesses prioritize human rights and environmental sustainability in their operations.
