Tin-shed gutted in Pattan fire incident, locals appeal authorities to help victim family

A tin shed that was the only resting place of a family in Burnee Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district was gutted in a fire incident late Tuesday night.

 The neighbors of the victim family comprising Mushtaq Ahmed Rather, his wife, and two little babies have appealed to Deputy Commissioner Baramulla and SDM Pattan for help.

 Locals said that a fire broke out in the tin shed in which all the foodstuff, bedding, and other articles were damaged. “This family has nowhere to go. We appeal to the government to extend it all possible help,” they said. [KNT]
