Vomedh founder Rohit Bhat calls upon honorable LG to brief him on their International Film Festival initiatives and Vomedh

Festival Director of The International Film Festival of Srinagar (TIFFS) and President Vomedh, Rohit Bhat, had an audience with the Honorable LG of Jammu and Kashmir, Sh. Manoj Sinha, to present an overview of Vomedh’s impactful endeavors in the region. He was accompanied by Zafar Dar the core team member of The international film festival of Srinagar (TIFFS). The focus of the discussion centered on the renowned international film festivals, the Jammu Film Festival, and TIFFS, both guided by Rakesh Roshan Bhat. These festivals have not only put Jammu and Srinagar on the global film circuit map but have also garnered widespread recognition. Rohit and Rakesh are festival directors for both Jammu Film Festival and TIFFS.
Honorable LG extended his congratulations to Vomedh and the visionary brother duo for their outstanding contributions to the domains of Art, Culture, and Cinema. He conveyed his best wishes for their upcoming projects, with a special emphasis on the eagerly awaited second edition of The International Film Festival of Srinagar, scheduled to take place from October 25th to 26th, 2023, at the prestigious Tagore Hall in Srinagar.
The event has attracted a remarkable response, with approximately 200 submissions spanning across Feature Films, Short Films, and Documentaries. These submissions hail from 37 countries, and the festival plans to screen 31 outstanding selections from 17 different nations during the two-day extravaganza. The festival promises to be a star-studded affair, with the anticipated presence of numerous Bollywood celebrities and distinguished delegates from various corners of India.
