Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya addresses 76th session of WHO Regional Committee

Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya has said that government is expanding health infrastructure, promoting traditional systems of medicine, and providing affordable healthcare to all. Dr. Mandaviya said this while addressing the 76th session of the WHO Regional Committee for South-East Asia Regional Office in New Delhi today.

He highlighted  India’s efforts towards achieving the goal of Universal Health Care  following a holistic and inclusive approach. He added that India is reaching the last mile with the help of Ayushman Bharat- Health and Wellness Centres. The Minister mentioned that so far Ayushman Bharat- Health and Wellness Centres have recorded over two thousand one hundred and ten million footfalls.
