EAM Dr. S Jaishankar addresses Indian Community in Portugal
External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar addressed the Indian Community in Portugal yesterday. Foreign Minister of Portugal Joao Cravinho also joined Dr Jaishankar. In his address, the External Affairs Minister highlighted Portugal’s contribution in promoting closer India-Europen Union ties. He said, the Porto 2021 Summit is a milestone.
Dr. Jaishankar recognized the relevance of the Migration and Mobility Partnership in a Global workplace. He appreciated the need for direct air connectivity.
The External Affairs Minister also shared the transformation underway in India that provides new opportunities for cooperation. He urged the Indian community in Portugal to contribute to the 50th anniversary celebrations of India-Portugal diplomatic ties.
