India are currently on the second position in the points table with 12 points, after winning all their six matches. On the other hand, Sri Lanka are at the seventh position with only 4 points from two matches that they won in the tournament.
Meanwhile, South Africa reclaimed the top spot of the points table, after a thumping 190-run victory over New Zealand in Pune last evening. Put into bat first, South Africa piled up 357 runs for the loss of four wickets in stipulated 50 overs. Chasing a target of 358, New Zealand were bowled out for 167 runs in 35.3 overs. New Zealand have dropped to the fourth spot on the Points Table with their third defeat on the trot.
