MoS for External Affairs V Muraleedharan on visit to Mauritius
Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan who is on a visit to Mauritius called on Mauritian President Prithvirajsing Roopun in Port Louis yesterday.
He conveyed greetings of President Droupadi Murmu to Mr. Roopon. He also visited the ayurvedic garden at Presidential State House established in collaboration with Ministry of AYUSH.
Mr. Muraleedharan along with Vice Prime Minister of Mauritius Leela Devi-Dookun Luchoomun, Foreign Minister Maneesh Gobin inaugurated ‘UTSAV – India Mauritius Shopping Carnival’ in Port Louis as part of 75th anniversary celebrations of India Mauritius diplomatic relations.
An MoU was signed between ISRO and Mauritius Research and Innovation Council for jointly developing a satellite in presence of Mr. Muraleedharan and IT Minister of Mauritius Darsanand Balagobin. He also interacted with the Malayali community of Mauritius and celebrated Kerala Piravi with them.
