Election Commission to honour staff associated with election process on National Voters Day
In Madhya Pradesh, the Election Commission is leaving no stone unturned to increase the voting percentage. In a unique initiative, it has been decided to honour the staff associated with the election process. In Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, the District Election Officer, Returning Officer and Booth Level Officer, who have done excellent work to increase the voting percentage, will be honoured with cash amount and citation.

Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan informed that out of all the 230 assembly seats of the state, the top 3 booth level officers with the highest voting percentage in each assembly constituency will be honoured with a cash amount of 5,000 Rs. each and a citation as a reward. Similarly, the returning officers of the top 3 assembly seats will be given prize money of one lakh Rs. each and the top-3 District Election Officer and District Nodal Officer of Sweep activities will be given prize money of 5 lakh Rs. each. These awards will be given on the occasion of National Voters Day.
