Rambagh witnesses frequent traffic jam, Locals seek SSP Traffic’s intervention

Srinagar, Nov 14, KNT: The traffic jam near the extreme end of Rambagh due to Rambagh-Jahangir flyover has irked the commuters as well as locals.

The presence of the road vendors has added to the woes of the commuters and according to them, they are greatly responsible for the traffic jam near the Rambagh stretch.

“Earlier a couple of traffic policemen used to be deployed on the stretch. In their absence, this stretch has been witnessing frequent jams,” a local told the news agency Kashmir News Trust.

Scores of vehicles can be seen stuck in the traffic jam in Rambagh. “One, the road is narrow and second there is the absence of any regulation and these two factors are responsible for the traffic jam,” said another local.

The locals appealed to SSP Traffic to take measures in the interest of the general public. (KNT)
