Joint Secretary of Ministry of Culture, Uma Nanduri reviews saturation of various government programmes in connection with Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra

Joint Secretary of Union Ministry of Culture, Uma Nanduri reviewed the saturation of various government programmes in connection with Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, with officials of Yanam region of Puducherry. 17 schemes meant for Urban areas during VBSY were discussed in detail.

She directed officials to give top priority in implementing Government schemes to the people at the grass roots. Yanam Regional Administrator R. Munisamy said that from 28th onwards they were going to conduct the Vikshit Bharath Sankalp Yatra in the region for three days. Municipal Commissioner Arul Prakasam, Superintendent of Police and various other officers participated in the meeting.
