Duo killed in Doda road accident
Two persons were killed and the driver sustained critical injuries after their three-wheeler met with an accident in the Tantana area of Gundana tehsil in J&K’s Doda district.
A cow ferried in the ill-fated load-carrier was also killed in the accident that occurred during wee hours.
Police said that a load carrier (JK06B-1533) was on its way to Gundana from Thathri, when the vehicle reached near Tantana, the driver lost control of the steering and the vehicle fell into a deep gorge.
Two persons Mir Ali son of Noor Hussain of Konthal and Zafarullah son of Talib Hussain of Dandi Bhala and a cow died in the accident while the driver Aqib Gulzar received injuries and was shifted to GMC Doda.
A case has been registered at police station Doda. [KNT]
