Two-day session of Punjab Assembly starts today

A two-day session of the Punjab Assembly has been convened today. House proceedings are scheduled to start at 2 pm on the first day.

Two bills will be presented in this session, including the Punjab Goods and Services Tax Amendment Bill 2023, which will pave the way for the creation of a GST Tribunal in the state; and Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management Bill 2023, seeking to remove ceiling upon taking loans, rather linking it with the central government limit.
