Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra commences in several Panchayats of Dachhan, Marwah and Bonjwah blocks in Kishtwar

In Jammu and Kashmir, the Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) commenced in several Panchayats of Dachhan, Marwah and Bonjwah blocks in Kishtwar district yesterday. During the Yatra, the local people in these Panchayats were provided information about different government welfare schemes and initiatives.

Besides engaging activities like taking pledge, medical camps were also held to provide healthcare facilities to the local people. The Yatra has been rolled out with the aim to disseminate information and create awareness in the remote parts of the country about multitude of Centre’s several flagship welfare programmes including the Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM PRANAM Yojana and Urea Subsidy Scheme and the process to avail their benefits.
