Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra goes in full swing across several Panchayat Halqas of all ten districts in Kashmir
Activities under nationwide outreach programme, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, is going-on in full swing across several Panchayat Halqas of all the ten districts in Kashmir. Despite inclement weather conditions, people are participating in considerable numbers to receive information about various government schemes and other initiatives.
The campaign started on 16th of November from the far flung areas of Gurez in north Kashmiri’s Bandipora district. Since then, the activities under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra have gained momentum and are now being carried out across all the districts of Kashmir province.
The local populace is being apprised about various government schemes and welfare initiatives of Government of India by means of distribution of printed publicity material while “Vans” mounted with special broadcast screens are continuously disseminating the necessary information among the masses of the region. During these programmes, many beneficiaries of different schemes have come forward and informed others about the benefits they have obtained, after enrolling themselves in various centrally sponsored schemes. They have equally urged others to reap the benefits of these welfare schemes.
