Country needs to unitedly face challenges posed by internal and external forces, MoS for Skill Development Rajeev Chandrasekhar says
Minister of State for Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and IT, Rajeev Chandrasekhar has said that the country needs to unitedly face the challenges posed by internal and external forces, trying to scuttle India’s efforts to become a developed nation.
Inaugurating a discussion on Empowerment of Minorities and Contribution of Minority Institutions in Kochi, the Minister observed that the country has emerged as a global economic power to reckon with, and is poised to overtake both Japan and Germany to become the third largest economy. He warned that vested interests are aiming to slow down India’s growth rate, targeting the youth through drugs, in a bid to convert such assets into liability.

The Minister said there should be a focussed effort to develop skills, education and job opportunities to wean away the youth from falling prey to radicalization and hopeless environment.
