Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is a movement to achieve aim of self-reliant & developed India by 2047, Union Home Minister Amit Shah says

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is a movement to achieve the aim of self-reliant and developed India by 2047. He was addressing the villagers at the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programme at Chanduwav in Gir Somnath district yesterday evening. Mr. Shah said the government is working hard to ensure that the benefits of all the welfare schemes reach up to the people of the last mile, and no poor in the country is left out in the journey of development.

He said through Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the government aims to achieve 100 percent saturation of all the flagship programmes of the government all over the country. The Home Minister said the country cannot be prosperous only through industrial development and leaving behind the poor. The target of developed India can be achieved by bringing the poor into the mainstream of development, he added.

On the occasion, the villagers took the oath for Viksit Bharat. The Home Minister also distributed the benefits of various welfare schemes to the beneficiaries.
