ZPM leader Lalduhoma to be sworn in as New Chief Minister of Mizoram

Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) leader Lalduhoma will be sworn in as Chief Minister of Mizoram on Friday, December 8.

The ZPM emerged victorious in Mizoram assembly polls by winning 27 out of 40 seats. Mizo National Front (MNF) won 10 seats, the BJP won two seats and the Congress won one.

ZPM Chief Ministerial candidate Lalduhoma secured victory in the Serchhip seat over J Malsawmzuala Vanchhawng of Mizo National Front by 8,314 votes.
