Regional Meteorological Centre forecasts rainfall in Puducherry and Karaikal

Regional Meteorological Centre said that 96 mm rainfall was recorded in Puducherry between 8.30 AM yesterday and 5.30 AM today.

It has also forecast more rain at few places in Puducherry and Karaikal. Chief Minister has declared holiday today for schools and colleges due to forecast of heavy rain.

Fisheries Department has cautioned fisherfolk not to go for fishing today.
