Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Rameswar Teli today attended the Namo Navmatdata Sammelan addressed by senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conferencing on the National Voters’ Day at the Tripura University in Agartala.
Later talking to reporters, he said, that through one vote, the person exercising the right to franchise can not only make the country strong but also take it forward.
He said, there is a lot of power in one single vote and this particular vote helps in giving a powerful government in the country. The Prime Minister’s emphasis was also on the new voters’ exercise of their right to franchise to give a strong government in the Namo Navmatdata Sammelan.
He expressed hope that the new voters will retain the present BJP Government at the Centre and make senior party leader, Narendra Modi as the country’s Prime Minister for a third consecutive term.
Highlighting some of the pathbreaking achievements of the present government under PM Modi, Mr.Teli said, it abrogated Article 370 from Jammu & Kashmir, passing a Bill on Triple Talaq and construction of a temple for Lord Ram in Ayodhya.
