Air quality level in Delhi records in “severe” category

The air quality level in Delhi was recorded in the “severe” category this morning. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the Air Quality Index stood at 410 at 6 AM.

An AQI between 0 to 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 to 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 is considered ‘poor’, 301 to 400 ‘very poor’ and 401 to 500 is considered in ‘severe’ category.
