Prez Droupadi Murmu hosts ‘At-Home’ reception on 75th Republic Day at Rashtrapati Bhawan

President Droupadi Murmu hosted the ‘At-Home’ reception on the occasion of the 75th Republic Day at the Rashtrapati Bhawan yesterday. French President Emmanuel Macron also graced the occasion. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud were among the many dignitaries attending the reception.

Several Union Ministers including Rajnath Singh, Dr. S Jaishankar, Anurag Singh Thakur, Smriti Zubin Irani, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, and Dharmendra Pradhan also attended the in-house reception. Former President Ramnath Kovind and his wife Savita Kovind were among the attendees at the reception.

The at-home reception began at around 4 PM.  President Droupadi Murmu and her French counterpart walked to the guests present in the open green lawns of the Rashtrapati Bhawan and interacted with them. The President also interacted with the foreign dignitaries on the occasion.
