Dense fog conditions likely to continue in isolated pockets over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and UP, forecasts IMD

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dense fog conditions are likely to continue in isolated pockets over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh during some days of the week.  It also predicts no possibility of a cold wave in any part of the country.

 

The IMD said another western disturbance is likely to affect Northwest India from tomorrow. Under its influence, Light to moderate rainfall and snowfall are very likely over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand till the 5th of this month.

The Weather agency has also predicted a fall of minimum temperatures by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius over many parts of Central and East India for 2 days and no significant change thereafter. Meanwhile, Delhi faced dense fog conditions in the morning today.
