India beat Nepal by 132 runs to enter semifinal of ICC Under19 Men’s World Cup Cricket at Bloemfontein in South Africa

In ICC Under19 Men’s World Cup Cricket, India stormed into the semifinal defeating Nepal by 132 runs at the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein, South Africa last night.

 

 

Chasing 298 for victory, Nepal scored only 165 runs with loss of 9 wickets in 50 overs. Earlier, elected to bat first, India put up a total of 297 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in stipulated 50 overs.

Indian skipper Uday Saharan made 100 runs and Sachin Dhas contributed 116 runs while Saumy Pandey picked up 4 wickets. Sachin Dhas was adjudged player of the match.

India will now face hosts South Africa in the semifinals at Benoni on Tuesday.
